Jody Dennis: Principal of Beacon Hill Elementary School.
Hello! My name is Jody Dennis. I have been an educator for over 25 years and feel proud and honoured to have been with Chinook's Edge School Division as a teacher and administrator the entire time.
I received my Bachelor of Education degree with a major in Elementary Education, my Masters of Education degree from the University of Alberta in Leadership and School Improvement, and my Doctor of Education in K-12 Leadership from the University of Calgary.
During this time, my work has focused on leading our learning community, supporting the learning of all, ensuring all of our children with diverse learning needs are successful, and creating a safe, caring, and inclusive school culture. I feel truly blessed to work with such wonderful children and parents, and our amazing staff at Beacon Hill Elementary School.
Outside of school, I am very busy with my husband and family. I enjoy spending time at the lake - reading and walking, as well as sea-dooing and scootering in the summer.
